I mostly practice acupuncture away from the problem area. This is called DNA (distal needle acupuncture) and is based on the "Dr. Tan Balance Method" acupuncture and "Master Tung" acupuncture. These are treatment styles designed by those aforementioned Chinese Medicine doctors and who have further developed concepts (systems) which are very effective and fast acting in delivering results.
